This album is a collection of themes for the Maze River, an animated series created by Adam Hazem. To place the themes in the world of the cartoon, I aspired to weave a tapestry of ideas and instrumentation from folk music traditions spiraling out from the east into a western classical film scoring framework. I hope it serves to compliment the wonderfully rich and imaginative vision of the show with equal beauty and depth.
